My sister and I dressed up as zombies (I’m the one wearing the purple tights) and went trick-or-treating for UNICEF, or, at least, we tried to. Nobody in our small town seems to have had change on them to donate to poor kids without anything… UGH - let karma get them! But, we did end up getting a bit of candy from those people who felt guilty. And, after 5 years of not trick-or-treating, and actually missing it, I realized why I stopped doing it: EVERYONE in my town goes to bed by 8! Siriusly! :// And, even though we did get candy before some people turned in, and I thought I was going to go way over 1500 calories, I did really well calorie-wise!!! :) Only 964 calories —- and I ate at least 10 pieces of candy! Although, my sugar levels did spike to at least 5 times their normal level… But, I’m really happy with myself - I just hope I can control myself for the rest of the week!!

Actually, I did go over 1500 calories… :( 1544. I forgot to add in two microwave burritos that I ate in the middle of the day. I hope I do better for the rest of the week.

Day 38

So, I’m pretty sure that I’m sick… :( My throat has been burning for the past 24 hours, and I’ve tried everything to make it stop! It probably didn’t help to be yelling at people today while moving new dresses into my mother’s wedding shop, but I had to do what I had to do to get the job done… If it’s still like this tomorrow, I’m totally staying home from working (although, I already plan on doing this to finish an essay; the sore throat will be a good cover story, though)… OMG - tomorrow’s Halloween! I’ve got to make sure that I feel better before night-time, or else I won’t be able to be a zombie!!! I am extremely excited about my zombie outfit, and if I’m not able to do it I’ll be pretty angry! UGH - TIME TO GET BETTER! btw, 1219 calories today - thumbs up for me! :)

1381 calories today! And, I may have contracted the cold or flu from one of the thousands of little brats running around downtown trick-or-treating this afternoon. Ugh… But, I had a ton of fun dressing up….as Snooki! I was completely orange, had way too much makeup on, teased the heck out of my hair, and I may have looked a little whore-ish, but it was so much fun to play the part!

It looks like I’m back in the habit of late-night updating, but maybe that’s just because Grey’s Anatomy was on tonight and it got me all excited! I kind of want to become a doctor - as long as I don’t have to deal with too much REAL blood - not like the surgeons on Grey’s, although every time I watch that show (or any other medical show) I get inspired to fix people… Maybe I should switch my transfer degree to Associate of Science… Hmm… BTW, according to MyPlate, I had 1211 calories today. :)

So, we had a Halloween party in painting class tonight, which was, I have to say, pretty awesome. There was A LOT of food there, but I restrained myself from it! Thankfully my 1-2 lb. loss in the last week made me determined to keep watching what I eat! So, even though I had a bit of the candy and food at the party, I still kept my calories at 1326! I just hope that I can control my calories this weekend, because I am a candy fiend!

I had a really good day today! I watched my DVR’d episode of House MD (which was really good), went to my writing class (which was better than usual), I made an awesome casserole (which was better than good), and I played with makeup while I watched Glee (extremely doubly good)!!! And, I had a whopping 1251 calories, even with the homemade casserole, so I’m feeling good!!!

So, today was a completely LAZY day… I didn’t wake up until one in the afternoon, and then I took an hour-long nap at two. But, I was in my new pajamas all day, so I don’t really care! haha :) Also, I ate 1495 calories today, which is definitely cutting it close, but it’s still alright, so I’m still pretty content with myself!

So… I just got home from a trip down to P-town! My family and I went shopping (!), then to a pinochle tournament/party where there was a lot of food! I know that I didn’t really eat that much - I just mainly nibbled on things - but the problem is that I don’t know exactly what I ate! So, my estimated calorie total for today is 1430… I think I’ll just have to be extra careful about what I eat tomorrow!

So, is this one month that I’ve been doing this? (Or, is tomorrow one month???) Meh, it doesn’t really matter… What does matter is that I ended up going on my walk today! It felt soooo good to get my legs moving, and not letting them stop, for half an hour. I really would have liked to walk more, but we (my friend, and I) didn’t start walking until around 5:30pm, so it was already cold and with the darkness falling it just didn’t help. But, the important thing is that I finally did it! Also, 1327 calories today, which is not too shabby! And, alas, it is now time for me to hit the hay!

Hey - it’s the weekend! YAY! (This means no more of the latest essay-induced drama!) 1168 calories today, which isn’t so bad. And, tomorrow I’m starting my walking routine with one of my awesome friends! :D (Hopefully! We’ve been trying to get together to do this for about a week, and we’re still finding schedule complications :/) OK, well I woke up 2 hours earlier than normal today, and I’m feeling pretty tired right now, so… night! :P

I only ate 885 calories today?!?!? I haven’t done that in a while… I guess it’s because I’m really busy trying to finish my essay that’s due tomorrow. Maybe? Or, I just chose healthier choices today? 1275 calories today! I’m extremely tired… I’ve been procrastinating homework for the last 2 hours, and, guess what? I’m going to procrastinate more until I wake up because I am exhausted! (which, by the way, is pretty strange for me at only midnight…) OK - night!

Has anyone else noticed that Tumblr is going slow??? It’s been on the fritz for the past 3 days, for me… :/

Eh, anyway… 1278 cal’s today! (and, I’m even going through that girl thing and have been eating chocolate as if it were good for me, so I’m pretty proud of that number today!)

I’ve really got to stop procrastinating and get along with my homework… My WR122 essay is waiting! (BTW, WR122 is an argumentative writing class - which I HATE, because I’m not much of an arguer on paper - and, my last essay was written on My Name Is Earl… I got 89% on it! This paper [That I’m currently writing] is going to be arguing that Harry Potter is the best young adult fantasy series in the last 20 years… I’m excited!)

Hey - look at that! I procrastinated for a whole three minutes longer than I should have by writing this - TIME TO GO!

So… Guess what I did all day? NOTHING. Seriously, I woke up at 2 in the afternoon (probably because I stayed up until 5 reading HP7, but that book is so addicting!) and then I watched my sister play Sims. Seriously, I DID NOTHING. I’m such a lazy-ass! And, now I have to pay for my laziness by cramming my homework into a couple of hours before I sleep (actually, honestly, I will probably quit in an hour and read Deathly Hallows some more…) But, anyway… 1265 calories today = not so bad, and my sodium is waaay down: only 951mg :)
