I’m letting myself eat up to 2100 calories this week…

It’s shark week (so I’m craving EVERYTHING), plus, I want to see how a week of high calories will affect my weight next week. I know that this will probably affect my WIW poorly, but it’s okay. :)

I really want to eat some Apple Jacks right now…

It’s nearly 2am, but I just might do it…

They’re only 100 calories per ounce…

But, then I have less calories for later…

I’m really unsure of how to get 110g of protein into my diet without consuming my weight in protein powder… I did okay on Thursday, but I did go over my calorie goal… MEH.

This week, I have eaten unlimited veggies/fruits (and not counted them), and just ate until I was full. This is basically to see how many calories I intake.

  • Saturday: ????? - It’s hard to count calories when you don’t know exactly what is in your food… (pizza @ restaurant, birthday cake, homemade french fries…)

Ya know what? I think I’m going to stop posting my calories, as a) it’s boring, and b) I think that I’ve been doing really well calorie-wise without counting everything. I’ll just keep watching portion sizes and eating healthy (like I have been!). However, if I ever get off track, I’ll start up again… Just an FYI thing for all y’alls… :P

Day 113

1569 calories in (yes, it’s a couple hundred over my limit, but I was fricken hungry, so I ATE! And, it was healthy food!), 501+ calories out! (Anyone know how to calculate how many calories you burn when weight lifting? If you do, please respond to this post, or in my ask!)
Also, for the next few days, I will be at the beach with my dad’s side of the family, so I have decided not to count calories because it will be too difficult to calculate all the homemade foods. But, I will make sure to watch what I am eating! I’m also going to take my running gear (shoes, iPod holder, exercise clothes) and see if anyone wants to go for runs/jogs with me. It will probably only end up being my cousin (she’s a dancer, and the fittest of all of us) and me, but I hope some others decide they want to go too! Okay, well if I want to go I’ve got to finish packing and get to sleep now!

Day 112

Hello, Weight Machines, you are now my new best friend :] I’m not sure why, but, even though it makes me more sore than Cardio, I feel so much better after using all the random weight machines that I use! Maybe, it’s because I’m not breathing as heavily, or the fact that I don’t have a bucket of sweat pouring out of my hairline, while I’m using the weights… Plus, the sore muscles make me feel like I’m making some progress in my fitness journey! Hmm… Well, anyway: 1463 calories in, and 367+ calories out!

Day 111

Day 111 on 1-11-11! Strange coincidence, no? (It would be cooler if it were day 11111, but three out of five ain’t bad, right?) 1302 calories in, 0 calories out. Today was one of my rest days because I was so sore (still am) from the gym yesterday! I seriously cannot wait until I start seeing some progress in sculpting my body! (And, I also can’t wait until I don’t feel as sore as I do right now!)

Day 110

1299 calories in; 371 calories out (cardio only - the calorie counter doesn’t calculate weight/strength training). 1.5 hours at the gym: 10 minutes of super stretching (and resting), 40 minutes spent doing cardio, and 40 minutes testing out all the different weight machines. (My favorite weight machine so far is what I call the “ab twister” [because I don’t actually know the name]… Definitely feeling the burn from that one!) Altogether an awesome day for my body!

I watched the BCS National Championship game, but fell asleep by the end of the third quarter. When I woke up, I found out that the Ducks had lost by 3 points because Auburn got a field goal in the last few minutes!!??! @#%&^*@   If they had just taken that Fairley guy out when he was playing dirty (3+ times!), the Ducks might have had a better chance of not getting knee’d, or having their helmet smacked into the ground, or UGHH. Well, it’s over now; I should really stop ranting… But, UGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH - SERIOUSLY?!?!

Also, sorry for the mini-spam-sesh. The rest is queued up for the morning. :]

Day 109

1056 calories consumed. 1 mile ran (kinda slowly). Football watched. TV yelled at. Desperate Houswives watched. TV yelled at. Math homework procrastinated - ALL DAY. 

Now, it’s just time to do that math homework and prepare for class, gym, and the BCS National Championship tomorrow! (GO DUCKS!)

Day 108

I don’t know how many calories I consumed today. I don’t know how many I burned. I do, however, know that I had fun being with my family and playing games with my cousins at my grandma’s house! So, I guess today can be considered my cheat day for the week (although I actually went over a few times this week)… Or, maybe I’ll just consider this week my high-calorie week of the month that just happens to come with shark week… ha! TMI? I hope not! :P
